A Bakery Associate supports daily production and customer service in a busy retail bakery setting in Queens. This role typically includes preparing ingredients, mixing and portioning doughs and batters, baking items according to established recipes, finishing and packaging products, and maintaining attractive display cases. Additional duties may involve greeting customers, answering basic questions about products, restocking shelves, rotating inventory, and keeping work areas clean and organized throughout the shift. Basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions consistently are important. Prior experience in food service, baking, or retail is helpful, though entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn may also be considered. The position often requires standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working around ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment. Schedule expectations are full time and may include early mornings, weekends, or holidays depending on business needs.
