Role Overview Provides comprehensive nursing care within the Mother Baby Unit, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves direct patient care, prioritizing safety, wellness, and patient-centered practices in a fast-paced environment. Role Overview Provides comprehensive nursing care within the Mother Baby Unit, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The role involves direct patient care, prioritizing safety, wellness, and patient-centered practices in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Deliver top-of-scope nursing care, adhering to practice standards and certifications such as RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality and safety at the point of care. Support and guide new staff through clinical education and competency validation. Contribute to a positive, innovative clinical environment focused on evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board if less than 3 years’ experience. Valid RN licensure and relevant certifications. Minimum of 6 months RN experience. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
