Product Liability Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Product Liability Attorney in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in general litigation and product liability matters, demonstrating strong analytical skills and professional communication. Duties Manage general litigation and product liability matters from inception through resolution. Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims, defenses, and causes of action. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other litigation-related filings. Handle depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation. Participate in trial preparation and attend trial proceedings as necessary. Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients. Retain and work with expert witnesses. Negotiate settlements and handle alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and adherence to client guidelines. Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff. Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court and procedural requirements. Requirements Admission to practice in the State of New York (Admission to New Jersey, Connecticut, and/or Pennsylvania is a plus). 3-8 years of experience in general litigation and product liability matters. Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members. Federal Court experience is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the State Bar of New York. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
