Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to obstetrics and gynecology patients, ensuring high standards of patient safety, comfort, and education. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

Assess and analyze patient data related to obstetric and gynecological health to develop individualized care plans.
Implement nursing interventions and coordinate care delivery based on patient assessments and physician orders.
Educate patients and their families on pregnancy, postpartum, and gynecological health, including discharge instructions.
Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans to ensure optimal health results.
Delegate tasks appropriately to nursing team members and supervise care activities to maintain safety and efficacy.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care throughout treatment.

Qualifications:

Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
Demonstrate experience in acute OB/GYN care preferred.
Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, as required.
Show commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations.
