Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Duke Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have pulmonary function lab experience. This is an outpatient pulmonary lab and experience is a hard stop. Ability to operate PFT diagnostic systems.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Strongly prefer experience with 6 min walk testing, oxygen titrations, and Vyaire/Jarger SentrySuite, but will still consider without this experience. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.

Unit Details: Outpatient pulmonary lab serving adult patients. Performs pulmonary function testing, including 6-minute walk testing, O2 titrations, and ABG collection. Uses PFT diagnostic systems, including Vyaire/Jarger SentrySuite.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. No weekends. No on-call.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
