Purchasing Assistant / Buyer Supply Chain Role
Location Cherry Hill, NJ
Hours Standard M-F Hours
Salary - $55k - $65k
This role will be onsite, in office, 5 days a week
Responsibilities:
- Assist supply chain team with managing and placing supplier orders
- Answer calls and inquiries made to the supply chain department
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for all tracking & reporting
- Help with oversight of the materials and inventory management
- Oversee orders and coordinate deliveries
Experience:
- Highschool or equivalent minimum
- 2 years of purchasing / procurement experience
- Previous experience working for a manufacturing company preferred
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time, in an office setting
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
