The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job! The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals. Responsibilities Lead a team of Department Managers and support them in setting goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching and direction. Improve department operations to enhance overall restaurant performance. Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure a strong future leadership pipeline. Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Previous General Manager experience running high volume quick‑service restaurants, or experience in hospitality or retail. Strong background in managing operations, customer service, and quality control.
