Shift: 5x8 Choose MonFri OR TuesSaturday
Assignment Details
- Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum experience: 12 years in acute inpatient care
- Required certifications: BLS, New Mexico license (may be pending at time of submission)
- Required setting experience: Community hospital / acute inpatient
- Clinical skills: acute care, post-op ortho (TKA/THA), total joints, post-stroke rehab, pulmonary care, wound care, patient and family education
Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions, including med-surg, ICU, and ortho cases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including PT, respiratory therapists, and social services.
- Educate patients and families on exercise, rehabilitation, and recovery processes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: ~24 hours
- RTO: >7 days needs approval; no RTO during first 7 days or last day of contract
- Scrubs: Black pants, red shirt
- Parking: Free
