Direct Support Professional – Day Program New Horizons in Autism, Inc (NHIA) is a non‑profit organization dedicated to providing diverse opportunities to enhance the quality of life for adults with autism since 1980 throughout Bergen, Monmouth, and Ocean Counties. Direct Support Professional Provide direct care, support, and supervision for individuals with autism in our Day Program setting. This hands‑on role requires staff to assist our participants with tasks such as personal care, medication management, behavior management, life skills, documentation, transportation, and daily structure and support. Schedule Monday through Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Desired Traits We seek caring, compassionate, dedicated, and reliable staff members who are willing to learn, grow, and provide the highest level of care. Sound judgment, tact, and effective communication with individuals with autism are essential. Agency Training Extensive, hands‑on training is provided to ensure every team member can provide the best care.
