A well-established litigation defense firm is seeking attorneys to join its growing Medical Malpractice Defense practice in Long Island, NY.

This hybrid opportunity offers three days in the office and two days remote, along with a collaborative environment designed to support mentorship, coaching, internal growth, and long-term career development.

Responsibilities

• Defend hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers in medical malpractice matters.
• Draft, review, and respond to discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear in court for conferences and hearings.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Perform legal and medical research.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.

 

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Two or more years of medical malpractice defense experience preferred.
• Direct medical malpractice defense experience required for mid-level, senior, and Of Counsel candidates.
• Candidates with District Attorney, General Liability, or Personal Injury backgrounds will also be considered.
• Strong legal writing, advocacy, and case management skills.

 

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000–$200,000 salary range, based on experience.
