About Dockside Restaurant

Dockside Restaurant, located at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, is known for its relaxed lakefront atmosphere, fresh and comforting menu, and unbeatable views of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Our bartenders play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for every guest who visits.

The Role

We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to provide excellent beverage service while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is confident, attentive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional bar.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
• Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to bar and restaurant guests
• Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift
• Prepare garnishes, mixers, and other bar supplies before and during service
• Monitor guest consumption and follow all responsible alcohol service laws and company standards
• Verify identification and ensure alcohol is served only to guests of legal drinking age
• Operate the POS system accurately and process guest payments
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, managers, and other team members
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management
• Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned
• Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous bartending or restaurant experience preferred
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
• Commitment to responsible alcohol service and following all applicable laws and company policies
