About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum.
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings to enhance teaching skills.
• Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect and empathy among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification for grades 1-6 in New Jersey or working on the certification.
• Experience in elementary education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and parents.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Passion for fostering a love of learning and encouraging student growth.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.
