CALIBRE Systems, inc., an employee owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company, is looking to fill multiple opportunities within the Washington, DC metro area. The VCF Design & Architecture Lead is a senior-level, customer-facing expert responsible for designing enterprise-grade VMware Cloud Foundation solutions aligned with mission objectives and long-term transformation strategies. This role leads end-to-end architecture from discovery through design and governance while acting as a trusted advisor in complex, mission-critical environments. Primary Responsibilities Lead customer discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and requirements gathering Design end-to-end VCF solutions, including: Management and workload domains NSX network & security architecture vSAN storage architecture SDDC Manager lifecycle integration Hybrid cloud integration Develop high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs), blueprints, and roadmaps Define: Workload segmentation strategies Multi-site and disaster recovery architectures Operational governance models Establish migration and transformation strategies from legacy VMware environments Provide leadership and governance across implementation and operational transition Review and approve designs aligned with VMware validated architectures Act as a trusted advisor to executives and technical stakeholders Guide delivery teams to ensure accurate execution of designs Support modernization initiatives (hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, automation) #J-18808-Ljbffr
