Quality Inspector II

Quality InspectorRiverpoint Medical in Northeast Portland is hiring for a Quality Inspector. At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices. Our ingenuity can be found in our suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies. The Quality Inspector will work with production to support all aspects of quality assurance and control. This role is responsible for testing and inspecting products as directed by the Quality Manager.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Quality ManagerPerform finished goods and in process inspections to ensure overall quality requirements are met as directedManage multiple priorities and timelines to ensure Production schedules are maintainedTesting Animal Health and Orthopedics productsPerform label quality control to verify and approve labeling requirements per product requirementsPerform sampling based visual inspection to ensure product meets product specificationsCollaborate with other Quality team members and cross-functional personnel to address identified issuesExecute good documentation practices (GDP) while performing responsibilitiesEducation and QualificationsAbility to read and understand documentation relating to the manufacture and inspections of all productsAbility to effectively communicate in English orally, through writing and interact with assembly techniciansComputer skills, including Word and ExcelAble to lift up to 25lbs in the course of performing job functionHigh School Diploma/GED PreferredPrevious QC experience preferred but not requiredWe offer great benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision, Life and Accidental Death Insurance; 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting, Paid Time Off and 8 company paid holidays.
