Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist

Our dynamic Hospitalist group has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN.

Opportunity Details:

• Full Time
  • Nights
  • Will work seven consecutive night shifts followed by 14 consecutive days off. Every third weekend
  • 6p-6a starting Wednesday night
• There is no PTO accrual or CME time off with this schedule structure
• 100% Inpatient
• 14 Physicians in practice and 7 APP in practice
• Working directly with 1 physician and 2 APP's

Patient Population:

• Mainly suburban populations around Hamilton County; variation in acuity; medical co-management with patients undergoing surgery

Key responsibilities

• See admissions from the emergency department, consults from other services and provide cross-cover support on admitted patients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required
• Must be board certified or eligible
• ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
• Experienced candidates preferred-1-2 years' experience
