Our work wouldn’t be possible without the support of dedicated volunteers who keep things running behind the scenes. Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of the organization.
Role Overview
As a Volunteer E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant, you’ll help us expand our online presence and reach more supporters. Whether it’s updating our online store, creating engaging content, or helping with campaigns, your contributions will directly support our impact.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with managing and updating our online store (products, descriptions, images, etc.)
- Help track and fulfill online orders (if applicable)
- Support social media efforts by creating and scheduling posts
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Help brainstorm and implement digital marketing ideas to grow our audience
- Monitor basic analytics (website or social media) and share insights
- Collaborate with team members on campaigns and promotions
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in digital marketing, e-commerce, or nonprofit work
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Basic experience with tools like Shopify, Wix, or similar platforms (a plus, not required)
- Creativity and willingness to share ideas
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Reliable, proactive, and a team player
Time Commitment
Flexible! We’ll work with your schedule—just a few hours a week can make a real impact.

Requirements/Qualifications
✅ Must be 18 years of age or older
✅ You must be willing to commit time on a regular basis
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Knowledge of Office365 and other computer programs is a plus.
✅ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
✅ Willingness to learn and take initiative
✅ Basic knowledge of Habitat's work and mission is a plus
✅ Passion for social impact and community service
