Saint Mary School has been providing excellent academic experiences and religious formation to the children of the Northwest Suburbs since 1855. Saint Mary School is searching for a part-time Community Engagement Director to join this tradition of excellence. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys fostering relationships, supports the values of Catholic education, and is passionate about the Saint Mary School community. This individual will be responsible for promoting Saint Mary and forming relationships with the wider community, taking the lead on attracting new families, retaining our current families by creating a welcoming environment, and overseeing the enrollment process.

Candidates must work effectively as a member of a team, be creative, possess the ability to execute ideas, be a strong communicator, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. The candidate will work 10-20 hours per week. During the school year, the candidate will work Monday through Friday, and weekends as needed. During the summer, the candidate will be on campus one to two days per week.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Form relationships with families new to Saint Mary and foster relationships with established families.
• Plan family gatherings and parent-only gatherings to build community.
• Serve as a liaison with the Saint Mary Classroom Advocates.
• Tour prospective families and follow up with prospective families to help with the enrollment process.
• Organize open houses and other events for prospective families.
• Create and provide content to post on social media.
• Help maintain the Saint Mary Alumni Database.
• Create opportunities for engagement with Saint Mary alumni.
• Establish relationships with local businesses and organizations.
• Attend community events such as BG Days and preschool promotions events at local libraries.
• Work closely with the School Office Manager and Parish Financial Assistant on the enrollment process to track enrollment and follow up with families that have not enrolled.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education, Marketing, Communications or a related field
• Knowledge and experience with the Saint Mary School community

This position has a yearly salary range of $10,000-$15,000 stipend. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
