Exciting Opportunity for a Skilled LVN in Urgent Care!

Job Description:


- Position Type: Day Shift, 4x10 Hour Schedule
- Monday - Friday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday - Sunday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM


- Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room
- Minimum 2 years of overall outpatient experience
- Valid California LVN License required
- Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), IV, and Blood Withdrawal
- Flu Vaccination required (No declinations or exemptions allowed)


- Job Duties:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with various procedures including phlebotomy, IV starting, and wound care
- Conduct patient assessments and manage medication reconciliation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes


- Additional Details:
- Schedule rotates weekly with required weekend shifts every other week
- Must be flexible to float across units as needed
- Orientation consists of 120 hours
- Looking for team players, as no scheduling requests can be accommodated within the first 2 weeks


- Patient Care:
- Engage with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Manage a variety of patient diagnoses, including acute illnesses and injuries


- Submission Requirements:
- Must have an active California license at the time of submission
- 2 professional references from past employers required (supervisor or higher)
- Background checks are part of the submission process
