Assistant Controller

Korn Ferry has partnered with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed construction services client seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join its expanding finance team. This is a newly created position designed to support significant organic and acquisition-driven growth within the organization. Targeting $115K to $150K Base (depending on experience) with Bonus Potential and Growth Potential! Position is On-Site Daily Key Responsibilities Manage and improve the monthly close process and related deliverables Assist in developing a disciplined, timely, and scalable accounting function Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting Support Work-in-Process (WIP) reporting and project accounting activities Analyze profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reporting Assist with audit preparation and financial controls enhancements Participate in acquisition integration initiatives Support ERP implementation Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency Desired Background 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Experience managing month-end close activities and financial statement preparation Prior experience with Construction/Project Accounting (AIA, WIP) – plus, not required Prior ERP implementation or system conversion experience – plus, not required Prior acquisition integration experience – plus, not required Public accounting professionals with construction industry exposure are encouraged to apply CPA, CMA, or CCIFP designation preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Korn Ferry
