Clinical Operations and Education Coordinator

Responsible for improving the quality, efficiency, consistency, and professionalism of clinical operations through staff education, workflow development, competency assessment, quality improvement, and daily operational oversight. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for coaching and developing clinical staff while actively monitoring patient flow, room utilization, provider support, and compliance with organizational policies.

The successful candidate will spend the majority of the workday on the clinical floor observing staff, identifying workflow inefficiencies, mentoring employees, solving operational problems, and supporting providers to ensure efficient, safe, and patient-centered care.

Duties:

Daily Staff Observation

Coach employees through performance concerns before they become disciplinary issues whenever appropriate. Foster collaboration among nurses, medical assistants, providers, laboratory staff, and administrative teams.

Provider support Document findings and follow up on corrective actions.

Identify bottlenecks and implement measurable improvements.

Round on providers and clinical staff Identify workflow barriers in real time Assist staff during periods of high patient volume

Ensure exam rooms are fully utilized Monitor staffing assignments

Promote accountability and teamwork

Culture & Staff Development

Qualifications: RN with 3 YRS out patient, AND education/ training , preceptorship/ management -

Previous responsibility for staff education or competency validation

FQHC highly desired

e clinical works EMR highly desired

Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, preceptor, or training experience

Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Comfortable learning and utilizing technology to improve clinical operations Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Electronic Medical Records Preferred
