(Includes a $2.00 shift differential).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES• Operates the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process or assists other machine operators.• Has an understanding of laser machine operation, differences between cutting various alloys, and gauge of material.• Performs regular maintenance on the machine.• Programs, downloads, and edits console as required. Verifies the measurement of cut materials.• Works with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.• Works in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities.• Follows all safety rules and quality standards.• Follows all company rules and policies.• Upholds all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above.This job description reflects the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required, based upon business needs, at any time with or without notice.QUALIFICATIONS• Machine operation experience strongly desired• Requires the ability to program, download, and edit console as required.• Ability to verify the measurement of cut materials.• Mechanical aptitude required.• Must have good communication, organizational, and cross-training skills.• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper, and Brass.PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to lift 40lbs with or without accommodations.Safety and SecurityNIC Global Manufacturing Solutions is a Drug Free company.
