The Dishwasher will handle basic food preparation, washing dishes, pots and pans, equipment cleaning, kitchen sanitation in accordance with Traditions, Inc. and Health Department regulations. Benefits of Yona Comprehensive medical, dental, and vison insurance Employer paid life insurance 401(k) plan Competitive paid time off Employee assistance program Wages on demand Discount & wellness programs Career growth Responsibilities Receives, collects soiled dishes; washes dishes according to sanitary guidelines and rules; Cleans equipment as assigned by chef or cook; Help with basic food preparation under direction of chef or cook as directed, in compliance with Safe food handling; Maintains dishwashing areas and dishware storage areas in clean condition at all times in accordance with rules and regulations and as directed by chef; Cleans workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to department procedures. Loads and unloads the dishwasher; stores clean equipment and dishes in designated areas. Uses food supplies and equipment in an efficient manner to prevent waste. Uses food preparation equipment properly and follows proper cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance schedules. Communicates with Chef or Cook throughout the shift as needed to best meet needs of the residents. Attends in-service education as assigned and applies information to job tasks. Complies with the Community's Confidentiality and Privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and all state/federal privacy laws. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience as a dishwasher. Further experience in customer service will be appreciated Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines Friendly with good communication skills Good physical condition and stamina High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus This posting in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
