Research Assistant – Cambridge Health Alliance Job Details Location: 1035 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA Requisition Number: 11416 Category: Research Department: CHA Center for Mindfulness Job Type: Temporary Length of Shift(s) in Hours: 4 Shift Start + End Times: 8a - 12p Hours/Week: 20.00 Weekend Requirements: no Holiday Requirements: no On Call Requirements: no Hourly Pay Rate: $20 Summary Under general direction, assists the senior research assistant or other research investigators by performing moderately complex research and experimentation following established protocols; performs routine lab and equipment maintenance; sets up and operates scientific apparatus; assists with research projects and may perform independent research; performs supervisory and training duties; completes clerical and editorial duties; compiles, processes and analyzes data. Responsibilities Conduct phone interviews in Spanish and English with research study participants. Conduct literature searches and prepare bibliographies for scholarly papers. Create tables and graphs. Create presentations. Track and report data collection efforts. Maintain content on Center website. Support grant proposal submissions. Perform general office support and help with preparations for large research meetings. Minimum Qualifications Education/Training: BA required, preferably in social sciences. Work Experience: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail. Language: Bilingual Spanish skills. Skills: Strong writing, typing, and editing skills.
