DRIVER/PATIENT TRANSPORTER

Patient Transporter Opportunity

Primary responsibility is the transportation of patients for admission, discharge, or to appointments. May also entail transporting miscellaneous items as scheduled and coordinated with Assessment and Referral Center Director. The Transporter is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe vehicle and reporting any necessary maintenance required.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center, is a 119-bed behavioral health treatment facility located in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA. The Meadows is committed to providing individuals and their families the hope of recovery through an environment conducive to wellness, strength-based programming, and highly competent staff. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid PA driver's license is required
• Must have clean driving record
• One (1) or more years experience transporting passengers preferred
• Previous experience working with the physically or emotionally disabled preferred
