Sr Accountant - Consolidations

Atrium is recruiting for a Senior Consolidations Accountant on behalf of a global corporation based in Atlanta, GA. This person will be responsible for supporting the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting processes. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, foreign currency (FX), and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes on multiple currencies, and prepare intercompany elimination entries in addition to unrealized gains on foreign currency adjustments (CTA).
• Assist with FX revaluation and impacts to the balance sheet
• Support the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP accounting protocol.
• Prepare and review journal entries related to consolidations and close activities.
• Perform account analyses and support balance sheet integrity during close including variance analysis.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Utilize consolidation systems (e.g., HFM preferred) to support reporting and close.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• Consolidation accounting experience is required
• FX experience is required
• CPA or CPA-eligible candidates are preferred
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is preferred
• Public accounting experience is a plus, but corporate experience is required
