East Syracuse, NY.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering testsMonitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or qualityTakes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineeringRe-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or qualityResponds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports resultsRuns tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating dataResponsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineersPerform process control activities such as measuring product or performing testsFollow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicalsEssential Knowledge and SkillsAbility to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the jobAble to work independently and as part of a teamStrong desire and willingness to learnFamiliar with PC applicationsEducation and ExperienceAssociate's Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience required.Strong math skills, especially statisticsTechnicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.Compensation and BenefitsTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$41,940 - $66,292Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
