About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM (Rotating shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the Operating Room within the last 3 years; Level 1 Trauma experience (at least 1 year out of the last 3); Minimum of 1 year of Travel experience (last 3 years) License: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Proficient/expert in General, Orthopedic (total joints), Neuro (Crani & Spine), Vascular, Trauma, Robotics (DaVinci with cardiac capability), Transplant Description: Previous regular employees are not eligible for this position. All shifts will be rotating, including days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required. Call can occur during weekdays and/or weekends. Weekend shifts may occur on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Over a 6-week period, up to 3 weekend call shifts may be scheduled, with call on Saturday (24 hours: 7 AM - 7 AM) or Sunday (16 hours: 7 AM - 11 PM). There may be additional night shifts on Friday nights. There will be no block scheduling. Call response time is 30 minutes. In-house call rooms are available for use if needed. Strong proficiency is required in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics (DaVinci for cardiac procedures), and Transplant.
