Starting Salary Range: AJCR $1208-$1344 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Johnson County Community College is looking to fill an adjunct teaching position in our Fire Science program. This position will teach in the JCCC Fire Academy.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters with 18 hours in the field and/or Valid/current industry recognized credential for the career/technical field and/or Industry.
• Experience with a minimum of 4000 hours work in the career or field.
• State Certifications: Fire Instructor I FFI/FFII/HAZ MAT OPS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fire Instructor II Certification.
