We are seeking flexible F/T and P/T EXPERIENCED bartenders to become an integral part of our team! You will sell specials, take orders, and serve food and beverages to patrons at this up-scale, high-volume, fine dining establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and make all guests feel welcome at the restaurant bar
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Explain menu items thoroughly to guests
- Place customer orders accurately and efficiently into the POS system
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion
- Clean and prepare the bar and tables for service as well as execute associated bar prep, cleanup, and breakdown tasks
- Be able to solely service banquets/weddings ranging in size from 30-100 guests while simultaneously handling cash and credit card payments rapidly and efficiently
Qualifications:
- Previous experience (1-2 years highly preferable) in high volume fine dining restaurant bar a MUST!
- Thorough knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor required
- Essential to be able to work collegially and cooperate with all team members and support staff
- Ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Must be able to move quickly, go up and down stairs, and be able to lift and carry out liquor and wine bottles/beer cases for recycling
- MUST be able to work WEEKENDS (Sundays a MUST!) and HOLIDAYS
