The Business Strategy & Analytics team partners with senior leadership and the broader business to drive data-informed decisions, optimize business processes, and deliver strategic insights that shape the future of U.S. Global Wealth Management (GWM). We’re seeking a highly motivated Associate or Senior Associate to join the team in New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-visibility initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and support business operations that are foundational to GWM’s daily decision-making. You’ll help drive strategic priorities by supporting business-critical data and technology projects, implementing process enhancements, and contributing to senior stakeholder communications. A key aspect of this role is the ability to move seamlessly between business context and technical detail-translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, and working with data and technology partners to bring those plans to life. You’ll also play a critical role in business operations by validating the integrity of client, flow, and asset data. This data underpins GWM’s reporting infrastructure and informs decisions across distribution, product, and leadership teams. Your work will ensure that the business has confidence in the accuracy and reliability of the data it uses to measure performance, identify opportunities, and execute strategy. This role offers high visibility and collaboration with senior stakeholders across Sales, HR, Finance, and Technology. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or other technical discipline 3-6 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or data analytics, preferably within the asset management or financial services industry Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with data and technology teams to execute solutions Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel, with exposure to data visualization tools Ability to synthesize structured and unstructured datasets into actionable insights Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences High attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset Experience working with cross-functional teams and navigating organizational structures Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Consulting or investment management experience is a plus Compensation PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
