Estimator page is loaded## Estimatorlocations: Miami, FLtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-100824**THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL**Sciens Building Solutions seeks an Estimator with the ideal candidate being a driven individual who will play a key role in Sciens’ growth by developing and maintaining customer relationships, bidding projects accurately and on time, while developing comprehensive electrical estimates for multi-family, commercial, and federal projects.**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)*** Manage the estimating lifecycle from beginning to end, including timelines, deadlines, and estimating packages.* Work within an estimating team on individual or team-based projects.* Coordinate total estimating efforts relevant to particular bid or project.* Develop and maintain customer relationships.* Meet Company budget volume and gross margin targets.* Provide complete conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects.* Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required content of project estimates. Perform necessary research to produce accurate, complete, and competitive pricing.* Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work using estimating software.* Reviewing all project requirements and specifications when preparing estimates and proposals.* Determine any risks related to the estimate and include in project proposals.* Ensure that estimates and proposals are complete, well-organized, and ready for review before the given deadline.* Prepare project proposals and participate in pre-bid review process where necessary.* Maintain files of working documents as back-ups.
