As a member of the SW&DT department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside systems, firmware, and hardware engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Aviation Blvd West Building in Linthicum, MD.Responsibilities:Support the planning, development, and testing of a surface Navy electronic warfare system.Communicate project status to the Integration and Test (I&T) IPT Lead.Use software development and collaboration tools like VS code, Jenkins, JIRA, BitBucket/GIT, Nexus, and Confluence.Collaborate with systems engineers to support system level integration testing.Implement software changes in C++ to port existing software to new hardware.Unit test software changes with system hardware.Basic Qualifications for Software Engineer:degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experienceExperience with C++ - 5 years.Experience working on radio frequency systemsExperience with digital signal processingExperience working with real-time embedded systems using VxWorks operating systemDemonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience conducting unit testing with hardware in the loopThis position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizenMust hold an active SECRET clearancePreferred Qualifications for Software Engineer:Working knowledge of standard test equipment: network analyzers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, synthesizers, digitizers, and/or signal analyzers.Prior experience with Electronic Warfare system software developmentExperience with Electronic Warfare techniques and signal processingIntake QuestionnaireJob Details and Requirements SectionWhat is the scope of work/project for this position?
