ACIS Service Portfolio Senior Manager

Senior Manager, ACIS Portfolio (GSI NAM Region Service Leader) Overview Reporting to the GSI NAM Region Service leader, this role leads core operational processes supporting ACIS Services for Industrial or Utility Customers. The position provides operational leadership across Intent to Remittance (ITR)-related activities, ensuring readiness, alignment, execution, and effective coordination across project, service, commercial, and support teams. Based in Houston, TX, the role requires approximately 40% to 50% travel across North America. Responsibilities Support ACIS Service business development, tendering, and operations strategy in collaboration with NAM Services Leaders (Commercial and Operations). Drive new service offering development and execution, focusing on safety, quality, and cost standards while maximizing customer satisfaction. Manage the ACIS Service portfolio for industrial or utility customers, ensuring project execution and margin improvement against the operating plan. Drive operational consistency, standardization, and governance across service support activities. Align processes and resources to meet business, project, and customer requirements. Support execution planning and operational issue resolution throughout the services organization. Provide support for reporting, reviews, and escalation management to maintain portfolio health and execution status. Identify operational risks early and mitigate them through proactive action planning. Lead Intent to Remittance (ITR) management, encompassing Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR) activities for specific ACIS Service customers. Align operations strategy with commercial strategy and support the development of new services based on customer challenges and market trends. Partner with commercial and operations teams to support key customers, ensuring operational milestones, handoffs, and process requirements are clearly defined and executed across the ITO and OTR lifecycle. Oversee project management, ensuring proper follow‑up of project execution governance (kick‑off meetings, project reviews, and post‑mortems). Hold financial responsibility for the portfolio, including activity P&L and margin improvement relative to the operating plan. Qualifications Mandatory: Engineering, Project Management, or Operations degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 15+ years of experience in customer service functions with scope in GE Grid products. Experience in an innovative service environment and coordination across diverse businesses and cultures. Previous experience in a matrix organization and knowledge of high‑voltage equipment and solutions. Strong negotiation skills with customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in process improvement and service‑specific requirements to satisfy customer needs. Financial literacy related to service business and reporting. Desired Characteristics Operations leadership experience with P&L responsibility. Excellent networking, team‑building, and management skills, capable of guiding without dictating. Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and oral. Dynamic, change‑agent mindset with pragmatic problem‑solving and high results orientation. Ambitious with potential to grow within a global, matrix environment. Strong industrial service business acumen and operational process experience.
