Make a real impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working on-site in a vibrant school environment near Lake Oswego, OR. This full-time opportunity welcomes travel professionals and experienced pediatric SLPs passionate about fostering communication and academic success among children and adolescents.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligibility
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
- Adaptability to diverse student needs and IEP development processes
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and diagnostic assessments to students with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and guardians to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, student progress reviews, and professional development opportunities
- Offer resources and training to school personnel regarding language, speech, and communication strategies
