About Us: Southwest Idaho Surgery Center is a private, surgeon-owned, ambulatory surgery center located in Boise, Idaho. Southwest Idaho Surgery Center specializes in otolaryngology (ENT). Team members work alongside experienced surgeons and nurses who prioritize safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate care.

Role Description : Surgical Technologists at Southwest Idaho Surgery Center are responsible for preparing operating rooms and ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and available for procedures that day. Surgical Technologists' daily tasks include setting up and maintaining the sterile field, assisting the team with patient positioning, counts, anticipating surgeon needs during procedures, and turnover of the OR post-procedure. Collaboration and communication with the surgical team consisting of fellow CST's, surgeons, nurses, and CRNA's is essential to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical team.

Qualifications:

License/Certification: NBSTSA Certification (preferred)

Surgical Technologist Experience: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and position patients and equipment safely, and respond calmly in urgent situations should they arise.

Candidates should possess strong skills in an operating room environment including adherence to safety and infection control protocols, anticipation of surgeon needs to support efficient workflow during procedures, strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

Details:

Part Time Schedule: Two to three 10-hour shifts/week.

Full Time Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts/week

Monday through Friday. No nights, weekends, holidays, or call shifts required!

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
