Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing necessary tests, and developing tailored care approaches
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions independently (per credentialing) or in tandem with physicians
• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your scope of practice

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Prerequisites

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Idaho
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialization
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to acquire within 90 days)
