Staff Accountant

Company Overview Traveler's Choice is a luggage and travel goods company based in Pomona, CA with over 40 years in the industry. We sell across our own website, Amazon, and major retailers including Costco, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our CFO with general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and inventory receiving verification. Job Summary We're looking for a Staff Accountant to support our CFO with general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and inventory receiving verification. Duties Reconcile general ledger accounts and verify that balances tie to financial statements Manage accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, payment scheduling, and vendor statement reconciliation Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Verify inventory receiving records against purchase orders and warehouse documentation Enter and reconcile inventory receipts in the company's ERP system Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain organized documentation and support audit preparation Flag and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory counts, POs, and system records Support the CFO with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar bookkeeping/staff accountant role Familiarity with ERP systems Strong attention to detail, especially around data entry and reconciliation Comfortable working with inventory records and purchase order documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Nice to have Experience in a product-based, wholesale, or retail business Familiarity with inventory management or warehouse receiving workflows Experience with Microsoft 365 and Teams Join us at Traveler’s Choice where your expertise will help shape our financial success while growing your career in a vibrant company committed to quality and innovation!
