Registered Nurse - Pediatric Flight Transport

Role: Responsible for neonatal, pediatric, and maternal patient transport as part of an interdisciplinary team. Collaborates with high-risk OB RNs to ensure safe ground and air transfers of critically ill or injured patients. Key Duties Operate transport and critical care equipment proficiently. Perform or assist with BLS and ALS procedures, including vascular access, airway management, fluid administration, and emergency interventions. Assess patient condition to develop and adjust care plans, communicate effectively with medical control. Conduct daily inventory, maintenance, and calibration of equipment. Maintain accurate patient care documentation per policies. Adhere to transport team Patient Care Guidelines (PCGs). Participate in orientation, education, and process improvement initiatives. Stay current with transport medicine practices through professional activities. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school or equivalent. Minimum three years' RN experience in NICU, PICU, or Emergency care. Valid RN license; certifications in BLS, ALS, PALS, NRP, and trauma courses.
