Autonomous Systems Engineer

Payrate: $51.00 - $52.00 /hr.


Summary:
We are hiring a Systems Engineer focused on software validation, verification, and system integration activities for advanced automotive and off-highway machine systems. This role requires strong understanding of HIL/SIL environments and the ability to collaborate across software and systems engineering teams.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform system validation and verification activities for embedded platforms
• Execute and support HIL/SIL testing for software and integrated systems
• Work closely with software engineering teams to validate feature functionality and integration
• Analyze system behavior and support issue investigation activities
• Review system requirements, test procedures, and validation results
• Support integration efforts between hardware, software, and control systems
• Participate in defect tracking and test reporting activities

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, validation, or integration
• Hands-on experience with HIL/SIL testing environments
• Understanding of embedded software systems and automotive control systems
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and integration workflows
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive or heavy equipment industry experience
• Exposure to embedded software development concepts
• Experience with vehicle communication protocols and diagnostics
• Background in system integration and verification processes

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $51.00 - $52.00 /hour. As a non-exempt position, this role will be eligible for overtime, at 1.5 times the base rate, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
