We are seeking a candidate to provide direct support the Director, Design and Construction (DDC), under Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager (DRPM) Submarines, to provide the Nation with critical submarine design, construction, and delivery. You will provide direct strategic and senior level support. Job Duties: As the foremost expert in the highly specialized fields of U.S. nuclear submarine acquisition, construction, and operations, you will provide direct support with highly technical specialized guidance with regard to strategic planning and advice and senior support to Director, Design & Construction, under DRPM Submarines, that will support organizational and operational functioning.This work will include:Attending and participating in leadership meetings, and other meetings as neededAssessing staff performance, and, where appropriate, making recommendations for changes and improvements in staff organizational structure and operational functions.
