Registered Nurse - Oncology

Shift options: Days/Nights (D/N) or Nights; may be rotating 12D/N.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med-Surg with oncology experience required (at least 1 year within the last 3 years for clinical pass). Heme/Oncology experience strongly preferred. Travel experience required. BLS certification required; ACLS and ONS Chemotherapy Certification preferred. EPIC experience required. 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager/director).

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with hematologic malignancies. Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage care for patients on central lines, PICCs, and ports. Administer blood products and manage feeding tubes, ensuring adherence to infection prevention practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and facilitate rapid response interventions. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Orientation: 72 hours. Urgent fingerprinting requirement for Ohio. Candidates must complete fingerprints promptly after booking. Strict compliance deadline: documentation due by Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions). RTO required with submission (must be built into contract).
