Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, including detailed assessments of range of motion and strength.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluations, tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques, such as manual therapy or therapeutic exercise, to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, recovery techniques, and long-term wellness strategies to empower them in their healing process.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and support staff to create a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility and function. This includes individuals of various ages and activity levels, from athletes to seniors, ensuring a diverse and enriching patient care experience. Our therapists focus on holistic recovery, combining physical therapy with education on lifestyle modifications for ongoing health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• A degree in Physical Therapy, either a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient care is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and evidence-based interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
