Work Environment

As part of the Move Better team, you'll work in a well-organized rehabilitation center where the focus is on maintaining a streamlined operation. Our clinic atmosphere is designed to support clinical excellence; we provide well-equipped treatment rooms and up-to-date rehabilitation tools to facilitate patient recovery. Our typical schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance and stability in your professional routine. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine patient needs, establish diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and administer evidence-based physical therapy services tailored to individual requirements while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for self-care, pain management, and effective post-treatment exercises to promote independence in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes aligned with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, such as occupational therapists, physicians, and specialists, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, athletic injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. We cater to a diverse clientele who actively seek improved mobility and pain relief. As a physical therapist at our facility, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their strength and functional abilities, thus enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid New York State Physical Therapy license is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic physical therapy practices and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, although we encourage recent graduates with a strong clinical foundation to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
