Aquatics Manager

The Aquatics Program Manager leads the team responsible for managing Arizona's fish and aquatic wildlife resources across Region 4 in Yuma. This supervisory role involves overseeing sportfish and native fish management, conducting aquatic research, coordinating habitat improvement efforts, and collaborating with communities and partner agencies to maintain healthy lakes, rivers, and streams for current and future generations. Key qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science, Biology, Ecology, Fisheries, or similar field At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in wildlife or fisheries research and management Proven ability to supervise, coach, mentor, and lead professional staff Strong communication and partnership-building skills Experience with aquatic field activities such as fish surveys, habitat improvements, and creel data collection Knowledge of federal and state wildlife laws and environmental compliance standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
