In this rewarding role, you'll help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities become more connected, confident, and independent in their daily lives. You'll work one-on-one in the community, supporting meaningful skill development such as cooking, managing finances, attending appointments, and maintaining a safe and organized home environment.Community Habilitation goes beyond daily support-it's about creating opportunities for people to explore their interests, build relationships, and experience all their community has to offer. From visiting local attractions like zoos, museums, and theaters to enjoying movies, parks, and other recreational activities, you'll play a key role in helping individuals engage socially and live fulfilling lives.
