IT Project Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with an Oil&Gas Services company in either Houston, Texas or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pay Rate: Open, depending on experience plus overtime, Medical, Dental and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire

Location: Hybrid and possible Remote, ideal candidate will be located in either Philadelphia or Houston

1st preference is Hybrid, who is local to either Philadelphia or Houston office, onsite 3 days a week, regular business hours (Tuesday to Thursday)

2nd preference is remote with on demand office visits for few days in a month

Duration: 5 months

Key skills required for success in this role:

Project management experience handling multiple projects at a time, who has experience in handling retail distribution business process and /or supply applications, Direct project work experience with ERP systems

Experience in handling projects dealing with SAP, Right angle, Microsoft dynamics, and Oil&Gas industry experience

Position Summary:

We're seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead enterprise application implementations and technology initiatives.

This role bridges business processes and technical solutions, requiring strong leadership across cross-functional teams and deep experience in managing complex IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead 2–5 concurrent mid-size projects (application implementations, integrations, platform deployments).

Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources.

Coordinate cross-functional teams (business SMEs, IT, vendors).

Operate in hybrid waterfall/agile environments.

Ensure compliance with PM methodologies (PMP, Agile, hybrid).

Drive process optimization and system integration efforts.

Manage cloud/on-prem application deployments and modernization initiatives.

Serve as liaison across business, IT, and vendors.

Lead change management, training, and user adoption strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.

5–8+ years of IT project management experience.

3+ years leading enterprise application implementations.

Strong stakeholder management across all levels.

Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or PMP certification.

Experience with AI/ML, automation, and digital transformation.

Process improvement certifications (Lean Six Sigma)
