Position Summary Our client is seeking a hands‑on Quality Control Laboratory Manager to lead laboratory operations within a small‑batch manufacturing environment. This role will oversee analytical testing, drive continuous improvement initiatives, improve laboratory processes, and develop a strong technical team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who enjoys identifying opportunities, implementing new technologies, and creating more efficient and reliable laboratory practices. Key Responsibilities Manage daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate, timely analytical testing Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and data reliability Evaluate, recommend, and implement new laboratory instruments, technologies, and testing methods Utilize SPC charts and data analysis to monitor trends and validate processes Improve laboratory procedures, workflows, and documentation Partner with manufacturing and R&D teams to troubleshoot quality and process issues Maintain equipment calibration, reliability, and performance Train, coach, and develop laboratory team members while building a collaborative culture Support quality initiatives, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field 6+ years of experience in quality control, analytical laboratory operations, or process improvement within manufacturing Experience in small‑batch manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or similar laboratory environments preferred Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation and laboratory processes Proven experience improving methods, workflows, or equipment utilization Experience using SPC charts or statistical analysis for process monitoring Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a technical team Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr Culbertson Resources Inc
