Pharmacy Manager in Atlanta, GA

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Oversee and lead pharmacy operations focused on home-based intravenous therapies in a role that combines clinical expertise with strong team management. This position involves directing daily sterile compounding and infusion services while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily pharmacy functions including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
Lead a pharmacy team by recruiting, training, evaluating performance, and managing on-call schedules.
Maintain strict adherence to State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and USP <797/800> compounding standards.
Provide clinical oversight by collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize infusion therapy outcomes.
Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow improvements, and strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia.
5-7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care settings.
Strong expertise in IV admixture services, regulatory accreditation, and team leadership.
Experience with CPR+ and CareTend systems is highly preferred.
Willingness to participate in administrative on-call duties; regular pharmacist on-call rotation in place.
