Accounting Office Manager

Schedule: Hybrid Temporary/PT to start but want candidates that want to ramp up to full-time

perm

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $35-38/h for temporary part-time portion; BOE for perm

A leading trade association representing the data center and digital infrastructure industry is seeking an immediate Accounting and Office Manager to join their growing team.

This is initially a temporary, 20-25 hour/week position, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in the Washington, DC office.

We’re looking for a self-starter who is organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and credit card reconciliation
• Working with our outside bookkeeper on day-to-day financial matters
• Managing office supplies, vendors, building coordination, visitors, meetings, and catering
• Tracking contracts, subscriptions, and important operational deadlines
• Providing general administrative and operational support

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting/financial management experience
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and Bill.com preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional, discreet, adaptable, and proactive
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
