About the Role We are seeking a Proofer Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Proofer Operator, you will monitor dough quality and process controls, ensure adherence to production specifications, and maintain sanitation standards in the proofer and oven areas. Shift & Schedule Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00PM - 10:30PM Compensation Hourly Rate: $18 Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Monitor units on proofer plates to ensure quality specifications are met. Verify floor batch time and dough texture for proper forming. Set and verify process line control parameters to specifications. Continually monitor controls to ensure product meets standards. Track batch containers to prevent exceeding line capacity. Verify targeted units per proofer plate meet specifications. Perform general sanitation cleanup of proofer and oven areas. Assist Oven Operator in maintaining process control of proof box and oven. Adhere to Lockout/Tagout procedures and GMP standards. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High School Diploma or GED. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Problem-solving skills and ability to define and resolve issues. Clear and legible writing skills and effective verbal communication in English. Ability to participate in meetings and respond well to questions. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Prior experience in bakery or food manufacturing operations. Familiarity with GMPs and safety protocols.
